Tolland Marsh Pond is large wetland area in Tolland, Connecticut. To the best of my knowledge, Tolland Marsh Pond is not formally protected as town open space or as a nature preserve, however it likely receives some measure of protection under Tolland statutes which govern and regulate the development of wetlands.
Rare and Unusual Plants[edit]
I have documented a fairly large and apparently healthy population of the Purple Pitcher Plant living in the southernmost portions of Tolland Marsh Pond.
